We are
about to begin the process of holding one of our most popular events of the
year—the personalized, one-on-one mock interviews. Due to limited supply of interviewers the
number of spots for this event is very limited. We want to give everyone a fair chance at
being able to participate in this event, so if you are interested in this event
please carefully read the following information on what this event is
all about and the instructions on how to secure a very coveted spot
for yourself.
What happens during the
one-on-one mock interview?
The
purpose of this event is to give you a taste of what the pharmacy admission
interview will be like. The questions
asked during this mock interview will be MMI style and very similar to those
seen on the pharmacy admission interviews.
You will have a 1:1, 30 minute training session with an interviewer, and
he/she will ask you 3 questions that you will answer. Afterwards the interviewer will give you
constructive feedback. For those who
have not started preparing for the interviews yet, this will be a great
opportunity for you to see first hand what to expect during a real pharmacy
admission interview, your strengths as an interviewee, and how to improve for
future MMI style interviews.
How do I sign
up for this exciting event?
On
January 18th (Friday) we will be releasing 8 spots for the
one-on-one interview through email. The
spots are first come first serve. We
will be sending out a link to a google doc where you will sign up, so if you do
not have a google doc account already you may be interested in making one prior
to this date.
We will
have another round of interviews the following week. There will be a second sign up for these
sessions at a later date. If you are not
able to procure your spot on January 18th, please try again during
the second round.
Please
note that you must be a member of Pre-Pharmacy Society to participate at this
event. Those who are not members at this present time may sign up for
membership at the event.
